Sustainability is one of the most important social and economic challenges of our time, involving not only environmental but also social and economic aspects. In its activities, TÁRKI takes a broad view of sustainability, focusing not only on reducing the ecological footprint, but also on the concept of social sustainability. Among the research areas of TÁRKI, social policy, economic policy, social structure and social cohesion are directly relevant to social sustainability. At the same time, TÁRKI seeks to integrate sustainability criteria not only in its research but also in its day-to-day practice.
