The following information relates to data processing of TÁRKI during job and internship application procedures.
According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
Personal data (hereinafter: data): any information linked to an identified or identifiable natural person from which directly or indirectly the person can be identified, especially a name, number, location data, online identifier, or data on the physical, physiological, genetical, mental, economic, cultural or social status of the person.
Data processing: any automated or not automated procedure on personal data, such as collection, recording, classification, indexing, storing, transforming and changing, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, blocking, erasure or destruction.
Data protection incident: security breach resulting unlawful erasure, lost, changing, disclosure, or access of personal data.
Scope of data processed
Data in CVs, educational files and copies.
Aim of data processing
Recruitment administration procedures based on the statute of TÁRKI.
Legal basis of data processing
Agreement of the person concerned. The scope of data concerned is defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679).
Employees processing data
Managers and office managers of TÁRKI and persons designated by managers of respective units.
Method of data processing
Data processing during the recruitment procedure at TÁRKI is undertaken in a lawful, transparent way, protecting the rights of natural persons, storing personal data to a limited, necessary time, in order to avoid any data protection incident.
Employees handle, store, delete data according to the law and they are bound to observe professional secrecy.
Period of data processing
Personal data of applicants is only processed by TÁRKI for the respective job or internship application procedure. In case an applicant concerned requests, TÁRKI immediately deletes his or her data after the position is filled.
Rights and safety of persons concerned by data processing
- Right to information
Persons concerned receive information on the procedures in the beginning. More information can be requested any time by sending an email to tarki@tarki.hu.
- Right to refuse data processing and transferring
During the entire procedure persons concerned can express their refusal regarding the data processing and/or transferring procedures by sending an email to tarki@tarki.hu.
- Right to modify data
It is the applicant’s responsibility to provide correct information in his/her application. Modification of data in his/her application can be requested by the contact person of the respective vacancy notice.
- Right to block or erase data
The applicant can request to block or erase his/her data by sending an email to tarki@tarki.hu. In case it is lawful, the respective data will be blocked or erased by TÁRKI within 15 days.
- Right to remedy
Persons affected by TÁRKI’s data processing can lodge a complaint at the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information or at the competent judicial authority in case of unlawful data processing.
