Borbála Lőrincz has been working at TÁRKI since 2021. She completed her BA in Anthropology and Sociology at Durham University (Durham, UK) in 2013 and her MA in Nationalism Studies at Central European University (Budapest, Hungary) in 2016. She acquired a PhD at ELTE Doctoral School of Sociology, Doctoral Program of Social Policy (Budapest, Hungary) in 2025. Her research topic covered segregation processes in rural schools and the narratives of teachers working in segregated schools. At TÁRKI she has participated as a (primarily qualitative) researcher in projects connected to education, education policy, educational inequalities, and their reduction (e.g., STRIDE, PIONEERED (2021-24), evaluation of the Inclusive Kindergarten Program of District 8 of Budapest (2021-23)).
